" For Firsts, TIME commissioned photographer Luisa Dörr to make portraits of 46 women who are changing the world. TIME's Director of Photography and Visual Enterprise Kira Pollack came across Dörr's work serendipitously on Instagram and knew right away that the Brazil-based photographer was right for the project, as Pollack writes in an accompanying piece. Here, Pollack talks to Dörr, 28, about her work, this special assignment and what it was like to use an iPhone to create portraits of 46 influential women and 12 covers of the magazine

E' del tutto inutile ripetere che un'Era è terminata, le varie acrobazie tipo L-Mount o nuove diavolerie Z tipo Nikon e Zeiss sono l'ultima e letterale Photokina, dominata da tecnologie del Novecento, tanto per non far nomi Leica & Hasseblad, tristi espedienti per tenere attaccato alla canna ciò che de facto gli smartphone han compiuto: entry level Dsrl Kaput, ed ora il colpo di grazia finale del “top” dei vari brand(y). Al netto del fatto che pari scomparsa tocca alla cosiddetta “carta stampata” sempre più “sostituita” da minchiapixel su Oled o meno di smartphone. Se poi qualcuno ha qualcosa da dire inteso come comunicazione tout court anche il "buco" quello stenopeico andrà benone, in attesa dell'equivalente a base silicio!
