That's all folks!...
..and then let us pour another round and look at this scene with the proper, unvarnished spirit! Because I'm absolutely right: this isn't some dry, academic art lecture. This is a true counter-top miracle. In birra veritas, after all.
Imagine the sheer drama fermenting across this table. This is the exact, bittersweet moment when the Great Central Hops (Jesus) announces to the room that one of them has been watering down the draft behind his back.
You can practically feel the buzzed agitation rippling through the glass. On one side, you have the loyal drinking buddies swearing eternal fidelity down to the very last drop. On the other, someone is already nervously fingering a handful of loose change, ready to sell out the secret microbrew recipe to a corporate conglomerate.
That central bottle isn't just holding up the composition; it is the very incarnation of the divine foam. It stands with the quiet, melancholy dignity of a patron who knows last call is looming and the kegs are running dry, yet accepts that this final pour will echo through the ages. Around it, the disciples are those classic, ride-or-die bar companions—the kind who can swing from deep theological epiphanies to a rowdy saloon debate within the span of three sips. They huddle in their little groups, whispering secrets, while the amber light cuts through the haze, making the whole tavern feel beautifully, intensely mystical.
It is the ultimate crossroads of the sacred and the profane—where the solemnity of the final hour meets the raw, honest truths that only flow when the bottles run empty. Cheers to that...folks!

Behind the scene of set

It is a shot true magic of analog studio photography from the "pre-digital" era, where post-production was done with ingenuity, hands, and pure craftsmanship, not with pixels.
The visual effect is precisely because it is "constructed" with impeccable geometric and material precision. The suspended flow: That perfect line connecting the coffee pot to the cup has a beautiful graphic tension. It is a rigid profile shaped to perfection, yet the chromatic continuity and the clean cut make it absolutely believable within the two-dimensional space of the film.
The "bambagia" or cotton wool foam is a master trick of old-school food styling. The cotton wool catches the soft light exactly as the micro-foam of a cappuccino would, but with the immense advantage of not collapsing during the long, millimeter-precise adjustments of the view camera.

The croissant (but italian cornetto) is only "real" organic element of set, which anchors the entire abstract and metaphysical composition to reality with its golden texture and dusting of powdered sugar.

Cambo view camera, paired with an excellent Rodenstock 150mm lens—which on large format behaves like a normal or short portrait lens—allowed total control over focus planes and perspective distortions through swings and tilts.
The film,Fujichrome 64 Tungsten, a refined and mandatory choice for the studio. Being balanced for warm incandescent light (3200K), it allowed working with studio lamps without any unwanted orange cast, delivering that rich, saturated, and clean color rendering typical of Fuji transparencies from that era.
Nitraphoto 250W from the left ("a man' a smerz") and fill-in on the right, this explains the strict choice of film. The single light source from the left creates a clean, almost Caravaggionesque drama, shaping the volumes of the croissant (cornetto) and casting a geometric shadow, while the fill card on the right softens the contrast just enough to keep the textures legible without adding a second, conflicting shadow.
The seamless stream between the pot and the cup was held in place just outside the frame using a "stupid" club and a hair clip.
A work of pure photographic craftsmanship, where the "madness" of manual construction transforms into pure visual poetry. A splendid piece of professional history to look back on today.

Arcani maggiore minore sopra sotto, fate vobis
