Amerika (k as killer) way...
Every now and then, you have to bring yourself down to the level of ordinary madness of normal people who normally... And recommend, nonetheless, a typical Yankee whose approach is worth a video-listen, if you please—since there are insights that are anything but second-hand for those who, naturally, still practice photography with science, yes, but also with heart... and above all, guts.

Ps. I wrote him...very time I watch her videos, I can’t help but smile. I smile at that classic American madness :) of living in absolute Nothingness and thinking it can be exported as a universal standard. Infamous characters, to put it mildly. Everything modern photography claims to be seems traceable to that "Amerika "with a k of killer)" way of life. Absolute madness. Yet, despite all that, the book she cites is intriguing—though buying it on Amazon costs a fortune, around 150 Euros, which is way too much.
Be that as it may, I appreciate her madness when she turns all those "talks" toward Canon printers. Beautiful machines. I print as an "artist" on the Pro 200 simply for the brilliance of its dye inks. That's all folks.

Canon Professional Print & Layout
The Canon brand has always been pitted against Nikon, "nobless oblige" even if, in fact, it all came down to the Canon-Sony diarchy. Yet, if there were a referendum tomorrow, I would vote for the first one not doubt, because Sony is just an assemblage of gears and chips (it exists after having acquired the glorious Minolta brand, among I remember above all the Srt-101 Reflex) for those who have been practicing photography for a long time: a soulless system.
So Canon and its "ecosystem" for inkjet printing brilliant and remarkable leap in quality, as we have already written extensively. In fact, if you put the menus on "autopilot" Professional in Print & Layout(while I'm writing and I spent the morning of snow that comes and goes typical of the weather in March) and saw the two series of black and white (out of the Pixma Pro 200) same subject not even to say, the snow, an image taken of Olympus WZ 5060 or Point & Shoot camera, on paper "unconventional" you will be surprised by the results of all respect.
But be that as it may, see the videos bellow, in addition run on Canon printers of "large format" the tutorial also explains step by step same procedure for Pixma Pro models 200, 300, 1000. Stay tuned paisà
